Founded by Stephen King-Hall in 1944, the Hansard Society is the UK’s leading source of independent research and advice on Parliament and parliamentary affairs. The first members of the Society were Clement Attlee and Winston Churchill. Today, our members continue to help to make the Hansard Society the UK's leading non-partisan political research and education charity.

As a member you will receive benefits including an annual subscription to our journal Parliamentary Affairs, our political digest, providing expert comment and analysis, and access to our Annual Conference and political events.
